By participating in the Toronto Talks BTC Rewards Program (“Program”), participants acknowledge they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions:
- Eligibility:
Open to all individuals over 18 years of age with a valid Bitcoin wallet address. Void where prohibited by law.
- Submission Rules:
- Posts must include #TorontoTalksBTC and @torontotalkspod tags.
- Submissions must be original, relevant, and respectful. Toronto Talks reserves the right to disqualify inappropriate or spam content.
- BTC Rewards:
Rewards are denominated in USD equivalent amounts of Bitcoin (BTC), converted at prevailing exchange rates at the designated time each month (12 PM ET, last day of the month).
- Reward Limits:
Each participant is eligible for one base reward per submission, up to five submissions per month. Monthly top engagement rewards are awarded once per participant per month.
- Asset Fluctuation Risk:
Bitcoin’s value is volatile. Participants assume full risk of fluctuation in BTC value post-distribution. Toronto Talks is not responsible for market variations or financial losses.
- Engagement Metrics:
Engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, views) will be objectively tallied using publicly accessible analytics. Toronto Talks reserves the right to audit and disqualify artificially inflated engagement metrics.
- Payment Processing:
Rewards will be distributed to participants’ Bitcoin wallet addresses within 72 hours following the monthly cutoff. Participants must ensure wallet addresses are accurate; Toronto Talks is not responsible for lost funds due to incorrect addresses.
- Privacy:
Participants’ personal information will be protected and used only for the administration of the Program.
- Modification & Termination:
Toronto Talks reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time. Changes will be clearly communicated to participants through official Toronto Talks channels.
- Liability Waiver:
Toronto Talks and its affiliates shall not be liable for technical failures, lost transactions, hacking incidents, fluctuations in Bitcoin price, or any other issues beyond their direct control.
Governing Law:
This Program is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

How to Participate
Clues to locate a hidden QR code are provided during Toronto Talks podcast episodes or through official Toronto Talks social media channels.
The QR code leads to an email prompt allowing participants to claim a Bitcoin wallet preloaded with a prize (typically 50,000 Satoshis).
The first eligible participant to scan the QR code and submit a claim via email will receive access to the wallet through a 12-word seed phrase sent via auto-reply.
Prize Allocation
Each QR code corresponds to a single wallet prize that is redeemable only once.
The Bitcoin wallet is awarded on a first come, first served basis. If the wallet has already been claimed, participants will be notified in the email response.
Toronto Talks holds no obligation to issue additional prizes or compensate participants who arrive after the prize has been claimed.
Security Notice
The seed phrase provided in the response email is not secure once shared via email.
Participants are strongly advised to immediately sweep the Bitcoin from the prize wallet into a new wallet they personally control.
Toronto Talks is not responsible for any loss of funds resulting from failure to secure the wallet after redemption.

Yes, we reward up to 200 users per month for participation (5,000 Sats per post). If the cap is reached, any additional submissions will not qualify for that month but can be resubmitted the following month.
You can post as much as you want, but only one submission per week will be eligible for the 5,000 Sats reward. However, more posts = more chances to win in the Top 10 engagement leaderboard!
Once you submit your post through the Submission Form above, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you don’t get an email within 24 hours, double-check your spam folder or resubmit.

- If your wallet isn’t ready when payouts happen, your rewards will be held for up to 30 days.
